Hard Rock 43, the 3 Year anniversary didn’t disappoint here at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepardsville, Kentucky. It was a packed house standing room only as people were getting turned away at the door due to capacity. We witnessed a crowning of a new Amateur Middleweight Champion and Derik Byrd successfully defending his Bantamweight title for the second time. Also for the first time in modern Kentucky MMA history the cage door busted open during a fight causing both fighters to fly out landing on the ground and hitting there heads against the concrete floor. It was definitely a way to start the year off for Hard Rock MMA and an event to be remembered.
