Top quality female feature bouts have been standard at XFC events. Stars such as Marianna Kheyfets, Felice Herrig, Stephanie Eggink and more have had their opportunities to shine inside the Xtreme Fighting Championships cage. John Prisco has been adimant about the fact that he wants to put the best talent out there whether it be male or female and his female fighters have definitely proven their worth.
In recent weeks the XFC have signed three females to multi fight deals. Angela Magana, Pearl Gonzalez and most recently Atomweight Angelica Chavez. All are part of a growing roster that seems to be always expanding. Sources close to the XFC have confirmed that the event in April there will be a stronger WMMA presence by adding an additional bout to the card. April’s event will feature Stephanie Eggink going for her second win in the XFC against newcomer Angela Magana. Angelica Chavez will also be on the card with an opponent yet to be named. I would imagine with the success of this you would see two fights become more common at events if that isn’t the plan already.
With the addition of Chavez the XFC is also looking to sign more top 105 pound females as well as boosting their roster in the featherweight and straweight divisions. For information on all the female fighters and listing of events check out www.officialxfc.com
