Rocky Edwards
Bevan who was victorious in his professional debut has been absent since that fight last June. Whereas his opponent has been fairly active as in the past year going 2-1 in three fights. One of those fights was against another Ohio prospect Rob Hanna IV (3-0) inside the Bellator cage when they visited Dayton, Ohio this past October. Unfortunately for Edwards he lost that very close fight back-and-fourth technical battle that went to decision.
Since that loss he got right back into the mix of things and right back into camp. He faced John Meyer (3-6) just over a month ago where he earned a first round submission victory. Now coming off that victory he looks to continue his winning streak and showcase his jiu-jitsu skills after he recently earned his purple belt.
Todd Bevan
You can expect this fight to be a 15-minute technical battle featuring lots of top-level jiu-jitsu skills being showcased. The biggest winner of this fight would be if either fighter were able to finish the fight before it were to go to the judges. With that being said we think Todd Bevan would gain the most from this victory plus it would also extend his undefeated streak. We’ll find out this Saturday night though who walks away victorious.
This will be the first time that Ohio Fighting Championship (OFC) has featured professionals are one of their cards. The promotion did not grab slouchers either they went out and got some of the top up-and-coming stars to place on the fight card. Tickets are still available for this event which they can be purchased directly on their website (click here).
