In a special Thursday night edition of BluegrassMMA Live we welcome in some old friends to talk about the world of MMA. Tonight’s episode is sponsored by Bangtown Fightwear and kicks off at 9 p.m. ET. We will start the show with XFC boss John Prisco. Prisco and company are gearing up for a 2014 return to action in North America with an event headlined by Junior Assuncao and Troy Gerheart later this year. We will catch up with John to talk about what is going on with the company state side and get details ion the upcoming XFC 28.
Michael “Cornbread” Allen will return to the show. Fight Lab takes its cage and heads to put on a show for the men and women of Fort Bragg this Saturday. Allen will help us look at the card and look ahead to the Fight Lab show in July. Cornbread doubles as both the ring announcer and match maker for the company to go along with training some of the elite talent of the Carolinas.
Turf Wars 19 goes down at Turfway Park this Saturday and in our second hour we will be giving away two tickets to the event. Jeremy Pender returns to recap his fight camp and talk about his upcoming encounter with James Douglas. Pender will look to notch back to back wins for the first time in a few years. Speaking of a few years, it has been awhile since Jim Davis was in action. He welcomes Jesseray Childrey to the professional ranks in Florence this Saturday. We will get the scoop on his return. Closing out the show will be David Crowe as he tells us about his upcoming professional debut.
