One of Tennessee’s top prospects will take his talents to one of the country’s top launching pads for athletes trying to break into the UFC. Adam “Primetime” Townsend will now fight inside the octagon of the RFA multiple times under the terms of a new agreement.
Townsend had this to say about the news.
“I’m super excited to have signed with the RFA. I think it is the best way to get into the UFC. I’m excited to announce my first fight as well. I want to thank the media as well as Tim Loy and my camp. It is a great opportunity and I can’t wait to represent East Tennesse and show them we are here to take over.
Townsend has won an impressive six fights in a row with five of the six coming by way of submission. Adam will bring his huge following with him wherever he may fight. This will be a tremendous opportunity for him to get exposure on the national level as RFA has a television deal with AXS TV. Numerous RFA athletes have found success in the UFC after a stint with the promotion.
