This Friday, you can watch ‘Primetime’ on AXS TV, as Adam Townsend (13-3) returns to compete in the co-main event at RFA 30.
The Tennessee native will put his seven fight winning streak on the line when he faces multiple time UFC and Bellator veteran Ryan Roberts (21-11-1) in a featherweight bout.
Townsend will make his second appearance under the RFA banner, as he represented the UFC feeder league at ‘Legacy vs. RFA’ in his organizational debut in May, when he earned a unanimous decision over another UFC veteran in Yuri Villefort.
‘Primetime’ is always a fan favorite, and he even gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his RFA debut during the ‘Primetime Selfie Experience’ vlog in May.
Roberts is a serious opponent riding a five-fight winning streak as the VFC champion and Nebraska native has been running through top-notch fighters on a quest to make it back to the UFC. In his wake in recent fights have been big-show veterans LC Davis, Chase Beebe, and Jeremy Spoon.
RFA 30 is set to take place this Friday, September 18 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The main event features a matchup of UFC veterans, as Brock Jardine (12-5) takes on Anthony Smith (22-10).
The main card, including Townsend’s co-main event bout, airs on AXS TV beginning at 10pm ET.
