George Comer vs Evan Samad
Yet another great pro lightweight bout has been added to next month’s RFO: Big Guns 18 event, as George Comer (5-2) is set to face Evan Samad (3-0) in the co-main event.
GriffonRawl’s Comer returns to action for the first time in just over a year, as his last outing was a decision loss against Joey Holt at NAAFS: Caged Vengeance 16 last March. He holds notable wins over Joe Lile Jr., Brian Camozzi, and Khama Worthy.
Comer was originally slated to face Julian Lane on the card, but Lane instead will compete at CES MMA on March 11.
After an 8-1 amateur career and capturing the Turf Wars title, Samad relocated to Brazil, where he made his pro debut last year. He went 3-0 while fighting for the Aspera Fighting Championship with all three wins via stoppage.
Big Guns 18 takes place on March 19 at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio.
