Bizzarro Promotions returns tonight, as Bayfront Brawl II goes down in Erie, PA.
The main event features a professional bantamweight title bout, as Jerrell Hodge looks to capture his fourth straight victory when he takes on Erie native Brandon Seyler at 135 pounds.
Evolve MMA’s Hodge looks to extend his three-fight winning streak, as he has gone on a roll after dropping his pro debut. Most recently, he earned a unanimous decision over former top contender Isaiah Chapman in the main event at Caged Madness 43 in June. He’s also picked up pro wins over Tray Taylor and Jeremiah Yeager in his pro career.
Seyler will have the hometown advantage as the Erie, Pennsylvania native headlines his second Bayfront Brawl event. He submitted Joe Pegg in the first round of the main event at the promotion’s first MMA event in May. He’ll be looking to bounce back from a loss, however, as he had a three-fight winning streak snapped with a loss to Kody Nordby at CES MMA 38 in September.
In the night’s other pro bout, Adam “A.J.” Bosley looks to even his record, as he takes on another Erie product in Jeremiah Yeager.
Bosley competes for the first time since January 2015, when he earned a TKO over Roy Sanders at Caged Power 10. Yeager looks to snap a four-fight losing streak. His lone win came via TKO just over two years ago.
On the amateur side of the card, the welterweight title will be up for grabs, as Gene Dunn takes on Nathan Boyer. Dunn has both of his wins via TKO, but is coming in off of a loss against Sean Foster at IT Fight Series 46 in his last outing. Boyer last competed just over a month ago, as he earned a unanimous decision over Art Duran at SCL 53 in Denver.
Bayfront Brawl II takes place at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center. Check out the full results below.
