AXS TV Fights was Houston tonight, as two inaugural titles were on the line at LFA 14, in both the middleweight and flyweight divisions.

In the main event, former Alabama linebacker Eryk Anders took home the middleweight title, as he topped Brendan Allen in a hard-fought battle for five rounds. He took home a unanimous decision with scores of 49-46 across the board. Anders controlled much of the fight with his power and athleticism, continually battering Allen on the feet and surviving multiple submission attempts on the ground. Allen attempted to come back with a strong fifth round, but Anders was able to hold out to take home the decision win.

In the co-main event, Roberto Sanchez was crowned as the inaugural LFA flyweight champion, as he topped Jerome Rivera with a third round arm bar submission. It was his sixth straight win via submission, and the ground specialist could be on his way to the next level after an impressive win.

In the second pro bout of the night, Colbey Northcutt came up short in her pro debut, as Colorado native Courtney King picked up a TKO win in the second round. After dominating much of the first round with her striking, it became a different fight after Northcutt was taken down by King near the end of the first. With another takedown early in the second, King advanced to a dominant position, and reigned down blows before the referee pulled her off to stop the bout.
