Results – V3 Fights: Wester vs. Hartley

V3 Fights once again invaded the country music capital of the world, Nashville, Tennessee. The Marathon Music Works hosted the event that featured a main event between Jonny Wester and Justin Hartley. However, tt was the amateur title event that stole the show.

Caleb Miller of Guardian MMA submitted his opponent, Scott Moss, in less than one minute into the fight to claim the organization’s vacant welterweight title. Although the match was short, and the submission was impressive, it’s what happened afterwards that is getting the most attention. “I ain’t trying to talk bad about nobody but Scott Moss was the only one to stand up,” Miller said in his post-fight interview. He then proceeded to lay out the challenge, “so anyone out there, you want my strap, come get my strap.”

One of the most impressive performances of the night came from Alan Belcher MMA Club fighter Monica Medina. The “Phenomamom” demolished her opponent Erica Fincher in just thirty-two seconds of the first round. Medina delivered an onslaught of shots that closed the right eye of Fincher before the fight was over. Rated as one of the best female flyweights in the southeast, she is wasting no time before stepping back into the cage. The current Fight Force International amateur flyweight champion will defend her belt in three weeks.
