Canadian Matt DiMarcantonio is the winner of the 2015 BluegrassMMA Pro Submission of the Year.
DiMarcantonio held off Josh Longood for his arm bar over Jeff Mack to win the award.
DiMarcantonio’s win comes for his kimura submission from guard over Francis Healy at Gladiators of the Cage 17 in June. He also followed that kimura up with another kimura over Bellator veteran Brylan Vanartsdalen at Global Proving Ground 21 in July.
Matt closed out the year with a 2-1 record, as he came up short against Rob Hanna in a featherweight title bout at IT Fight Series 38 in November.
DiMarcantonio is 8-6 overall, with notable wins over Wes Hanson and Reggie Merriweather also on his record.
