Shaun Asher set for RFA 39 event in Indiana on AXS TV

A member of the AXS TV Fights family is headed to the Hoosier State next month, as Resurrection Fighting Alliance 39 is set to take place at the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond on June 17th. The event will air live on AXS TV at 10pm from the Chicagoland area.
A familiar face will be in action, as Ohio native Shaun Asher (11-2) is set to take on Jordan Johnson (4-0) in a light heavyweight bout. Cincinnati’s Asher competes for the first time since stopping T.J. Eskew in the first round at Turf Wars 27 last August. The Bellator veteran has just two losses in his carrer: to Jason Butcher at Bellator 78 and to current UFC light heavyweight Misha Cirkunov.
Johnson hails from Arizona and is already 2-0 under the RFA banner with quick submissions over Gemenie Strehlow and Ryan Debelak.
The main event at RFA 39 will feature featherweight champion Raoni Barcelos (9-1) defending his title against Illinois native Bobby Moffett (8-1).
