Bellator 162 takes place at the FedEx Forum tonight in Memphis, Tennessee, and you’ll be able to watch the preliminary card right here on BluegrassMMA before the main card hits Spike TV.
The prelims are littered with talent from all over, including North Carolina native and XFC veteran Ricky Rainey, who will take on Gilbert Smith in a welterweight bout, and Tennessee native Ronnie Lawrence, who looks to remain unbeaten in a bantamweight bout against Bellator mainstay Steve Garcia.
Heavyweights will also throw down as Bobby Brents takes on Chase Gormley, and Dan Charles faces Virgil Zwicker. A pivotal women’s featherweight bout is also featured as Julia Budd takes on Arelene Blencowe.
For fans looking for a name to watch for on the prelim card, former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Eryk Anders makes his Bellator debut against Brian White. Anders is 5-0 with four stoppage wins, including a TKO over Jesse Grun at Valor Fights 37 in August.
The main card also features some notables, including the return of former middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko from a suspension, as he takes on Kendall Grove. The co-main event features former WWE and TNA champion Bobby Lashley against Josh Appelt.
