Warrior FC will kick off their 2017 campaign on March 4th when the promotion heads to the Knott County Sportsplex and Jimbo Collins is bringing a big fight to the fans. Ken Beverly will return to meet undefeated Nick Baker.
Nick Baker has jumped out to an impressive 3-0 including back to back wins inside the Warrior FC cage. “Haymaker” dispatched Brian Kerr with a knockout in only 52 seconds in his most recent outing earlier this month. Baker fought six times in 2016 and made the jump to the professional ranks in June.
Ken Beverly will no doubt be the fan favorite coming over from Hazard, KY. Beverly (3-2) will return following tough loss to Adli Edwards back in October. Beverly took Edwards to a decision but was outgunned by the Ohio standout. Prior to that the 19 year old had won three in a row after dropping his pro debut back in April.
This is a solid booking for Warrior FC. Baker has been on a roll and Beverly has shown much potential in his young career. This is not an easy fight for either of them.
Warror FC “Knuckle Up or Shut Up” takes place on March 4th. Stay close to BluegrassMMA for more on this event.
