2016 BluegrassMMA Amateur Knockout of the Year: James Garmany

With more than 30% of the vote, the winner of the 2016 BluegrassMMA Amateur Knockout of the Year is James Garmany. Austin Meese took second place with 20.3%, and Damonte Robinson took third with 13.3%.

It took Garmany just 51 seconds to successfully defend his Valor Fights light heavyweight title with a knockout over Travis Gregoire at Valor Fights 37 in September. You can watch the fight on FloCombat. The fight starts at 2:28:10.

Garmany returns to action later this month at Apex Fights 13, where he’ll defend his title and look to qualify for the UMMAF national championships when he takes on John Hall.

With the win, Garmany will receive a plaque from BluegrassMMA as well as a feature story on the website this month.
