The first-ever professional V3 Fights light heavyweight title will be on the line next month, when Teddy Holder (9-3) squares off with Adrian Miles (15-9) at V3 Fights 58 on March 25 in Memphis, TN.
Memphis native Holder comes in looking to snap out of a two-fight losing streak. After stopping UFC veteran Thiago Silva via TKO in his promotional debut at World Series of Fighting 19 just under two years ago, he dropped his next two WSOF bouts. First, he lost to David Branch at WSOF 23, and then lost via TKO against Shamil Gamzatov at WSOF 27 last January. This will be his first time in action since that bout. All nine of his wins are via stoppage, including seven via (T)KO, and two via submission.
Mississippi native Miles has also lost two bouts in a row, both via submission for the Hard Knocks promotion in Canada. He’s actually just 1-4 in his last five bouts, with his lone win coming against Randy Billiott at an event in Alabama. The one-time Bellator veteran has seven wins via (T)KO and four via submission.
The fight card also features a matchup of former V3 Fights amateur champions, as Ryan Collins (2-0) takes on Greggory Hussey (1-0) in a pro bout. In another pro bout, Alvin Williams (3-3) will face former teammate Tyler Smith (0-2).
