Explosive Fight Promotions is set to hold their first event of 2017 next month, as Caged Madness 47 goes down at the organization’s home base of the Tadmor Shrine in Akron, Ohio on April 8.
The event is expected to be headlined by a lightweight bout pitting veteran amateurs T.J. Rigel (5-1) and Jake Schilling (7-1).
A former Ohio State wrestler, Rigel comes in riding a two-fight winning streak. His last outing was at Caged Madness 45 last September, when he submitted Austin Meese in the first round. He also holds wins over notables Izzy William and Anthony Romero.
Schilling will compete for the first time in more than two years, when he topped Dru Schottenheimer at Caged Madness 34. The 22-year-old Mark Cherico Academy product comes in riding a four-fight winning streak.
Caged Madness 47 currently features a dozen bouts. You can check out the full card below.
