Warrior FC is set to return on Sept. 23, as the promotion’s next event will take place at the Knott County Sportsplex in Hindman, Kentucky.
A pro lightweight title bout is set for the event, as Ken Beverly (5-2) will defend his title against Jerrod Jennings (2-1).
Beverly looks for his third win in a row, as the 20-year-old will compete in his eighth pro bout after turning pro just 15 months ago. Three of his wins have come via stoppage, including a pair of submissions. He submitted Nick Baker to claim the Warrior FC title in March, and then he topped Steven Haag at Valor Fights 43 in May.
Jennings looks to rebound from the first loss of his pro career. After starting out 2-0, he dropped a decision to Anthony Livingston at a C4FC event last month. Prior to that, he submitted Sergio Pavon via triangle in the first round at an event in Tennessee in May.
Also in action will be Warrior FC heavyweight champion Ben Rowland (2-0), who will be defending his title against an opponent to be named.
On the amateur side of the bill, Ken’s younger brother Stone Beverly (1-1) will compete in a bantamweight title bout.
The event will also air live on FloCombat. Stay tuned to BluegrassMMA for more on Warrior FC.
