Hardrock MMA returns to the Sloan Convention Center located in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the second time this year. The all-amateur Hardrock MMA 94 will feature 11 bouts including the main event match-up between Ryan Driskill (5-5) of Bushido MMA and Ricky Jones Jr. (7-7) of BG Beatdown.
Making his Hardrock MMA debut, Driskill is looking to bounce back into the win column after dropping a decision to David Robins at Border Wars: Warrior FC vs. Valor Fights. Prior to that, Driskill submitted Don Perigo in the first-round. The Louisville native also has wins against PJ Palmer, Justin Decker, Jeremy Petter, and William Caylor.
After starting out winning five of his first six fights Jones has seen a downturn in his career. The BG Beatdown product has dropped four straight dating back two years. His last win came in November 2014 when he submitted Andre Rodriguez at Hardrock MMA 69. Three of the four losses came by decision including a loss to current Hardrock MMA lightweight champion, Keegan Agnew.
In the co-main event, Eli-John Kaindu (4-5) will take on undefeated Jason Herring (1-0). Herring made his amateur debut almost one-year ago at Hardrock MMA 85. In his debut bout, Herring stopped Dale Tossi just over the midway point in the opening round. The Harveys MMA product will look to keep his unblemished record will he squares off against Kaindu.
Kaindu began his career winning three straight fights, and four of his first five fights. Since defeating Jordan Robinson in November 2014, Kaindu has been on slump losing four in a row. The 4 Seasons MMA product is seeking to turn his career around and finish the year off strong with a win over Herring.
