A source close to the weigh ins tonight has advised us that main event fighter Carina Damm has missed weight. Damm was set to face top flyweight Jessica Eye at 125 pounds in Cleveland. Knowing that weight was going to be an issue a decision was made to alter the fight to a catchweight of 130 pounds. It seems Damm couldn’t get the last few pounds to come off and weighed in at 132. Without making excuses her manager Jason Ellis of Relentless Sports Management tweeted to us that things like this happen and alluded to the fact some travel delays could have played a role. Appearantly Damm was held up at the airport until 5 p.m. Ellis tells us that this was in no way to disrespect Eye but a situation out of her control. Regardless the fight is still a go.
