Mazzotta-Seyler headline 9 bout fight card at Gladiators of the Cage 16

Dominic Mazzotta meets Brandon Seyler at Gladiators of the Cage 16

Gladiators of the Cage returns to action as they invade the Syria Shriners in Cheswick, Pennsylvania this weekend. The stacked card features four professional bouts including the main event between Dominic Mazzotta (5-1) and Brandon Seyler (3-1-1).

Originally, Pittsburgh favorite Mark Cherico was slated to meet Nate Landwehr in the main event. However, after that fight fell through the Mazzotta and Seyler fight was upgraded to fill the now empty headliner slot. Aside from the main event status this bout has even more significance. The two will be competing for the promotion’s currently vacant professional bantamweight title.

In the co-main event, we will see two undefeated fighters looking to keep their records unblemished. Rob Hanna (4-0) out of Dayton, Ohio will take on Todd Bevan (3-0) of Bridgeport, Ohio. As cliche as it is I have to say it; someone’s 0 has got to go in this lightweight contest. “Ready for WAR,” wrote Bevan as he was preparing for his fight against Hanna. “Winning isn’t enough it’s time to make a statement and put this guy away.”

Let’s take a look at the rest of the line-up scheduled for this weekend’s event:
