Jerrell Hodge (5-1) will look for his second Alliance MMA title, as the IT Fight Series bantamweight champion is set to travel to New Jersey next month to challenge Ricky Bandejas (9-1) for the CFFC bantamweight crown.
Hodge announced the bout via Facebook.
After losing his pro debut, Hodge has won five straight bouts, including back to back title fights. Most recently, he submitted Alfred Leisure to claim the IT Fight Series bantamweight title in the main event at IT Fight Series 72 in June.
A New Jersey native, Bandejas has spent his entire pro career competing under the CFFC banner. Most recently, he topped Giorgi Kudukhashvili at CFFC 66 in August to claim the promotion’s bantamweight title.
The bout will serve as one of three title fights on the night, as Sean Brady (6-0) will defend his welterweight title against Dwight Grant (7-1), and Richard Patishnock (7-4) will challenge Joseph Lowery (6-0) for his lightweight title.
CFFC 68 takes place on Oct. 21 at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
