Lineup set for Colosseum Combat XXXIV

The stage is set for Mark Slater’s Colosseum Combat to make their 2016 debut tomorrow night in Kokomo, IN. The event is being anchored by four professional fights and an amateur title fight. Weigh-ins are set to take place tonight with the action going down Saturday evening at the National Guard Armory.

The main event pits Jeremy Pender (11-11) against Brandon Clawson (3-1). Clawson hasn’t fought since 2014 but started his professional career with three straight wins before losing in one of the grittiest performances I’ve witnessed. Pender is looking to make it back to back wins under the CC banner. He submitted James Porter back in October.

Reggie Merriweather (8-8) will meet Cameron VanCamp (3-2-1) as both men are looking to put a winning streak together. Merriweather is undefeated in Kokomo and is looking to build off of a split decision win back in November. VanCamp stopped Andrew Law for King of the Cage in September.

The other professional fights will include Daniel Head (12-10) taking on undefeated Jameson Sharp (2-0) and Christopher Blevins (1-1) meeting Adam Gonzales (0-0 pro, 3-3 amateur).

Here is a look at the full fight card, subject to change.
